Birth Stories

Your birth, documented as it really happens — the waiting, the work, the first breath, the first hold. No posing, no interruptions. I stay in the background so you can stay in the moment.

How it works

  • We meet in person or on video around week 30–34 to talk about your plans, your birthplace, and what you want photographed — and what you don't.

  • From 14 days before to 14 days after your due date, I'm on call around the clock, phone on, bag packed.

  • When labour starts, you or your partner message me. I join when you're ready — at home, in a birth centre or at the hospital.

  • I stay through the birth and 1–2 hours after: the first feed, the weighing, the first family photos.

  • You get a sneak peek within 48 hours and your full gallery within 3–4 weeks.

Hospitals and clinics in Barcelona

Many private clinics and some public hospitals in Barcelona allow a photographer as a second companion, but rules vary and can change. I'll help you check your hospital's current policy and give you a short letter to bring. Operating theatres are usually stricter, so we'll plan for a caesarean too.

Every kind of family

Two mums, two dads, solo parents, surrogacy and adoption journeys, home births, caesareans, VBACs. Your story is welcome here — and you decide what is shared. Nothing goes online without your written consent.

Film, too

Add a short birth film with sound — the voices, the first cry — to keep alongside your photos.
